We are further expanding our team and are looking for an enthusiastic student assistant to assist our fermentation team with various tasks for 7-12 hours per week (flexible working hours expected), starting approximately January 2025.

 

Prerequisites 

We expect you to have experience with working in a molecular laboratory environment, to be structured and well-organized, to be service-minded and to speak and write English flu­ently.

Tasks and responsibilities

Immediate tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Ø  Media preparation

Ø  Bioreactor cleaning

Ø  Preparing bioreactors for autoclavation

Ø  Sampling/Measuring OD

Ø  Preparing precultures

More responsibilities might be assigned later.

 

Expectations

Ø  You live and study in Denmark.

Ø  You have at least 1 year left for your master’s degree (ideally 1,5-2 years).

Ø  You are flexible to work 7-12 h/week, including ~1-2 h on Sundays.

Ø  You are structured, well organised, highly motivated and ready to take responsibility.

Place of work

Will be at our research facilities at Fruebjergvej 3 at Østerbro in Copenhagen.

You will be working together with ~20 highly enthusiastic scientists (students, Ph.D.’s and post­docs) in a young and dynamic environment with a lot of fun and social activities.
